Bivariate visual analytics for SAMS regions

Sams3dViewer is a client for visual analytics of bivariate geographical data developed in C#/Unity. Given a csv input file with geographical data for various variables, Sams3dViewer generates a high-resolution interactive scene where the height and color of the individual 3D meshes can be linked to any two variables. Full visual interaction is provided either by using a mouse or through a touch screen, where individual geographical entities can be examined. Sams3dViewer works in tandem with the Shapefile3dReader client that converts original shapefile files into suitable 3D meshes (such as the typical SAMS regions in Swedish geographical statistics). Sams3dViewer is developed within the research project.
